Girona, October 31st 2013.- Comexi Group, a leading specialist in machinery solutions for the flexible packaging conversion industry, has been visited by about 350 people during the three weeks of its Open House event. The professionals who attended it came from 20 countries including the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Argentina, China, Japan, Vietnam, Portugal, France, Russia and Algeria, and they highlighted the enormous capacity Comexi Group has to innovate and adapt its machines to the needs of a changing market as well as the benefits of the new Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre as a space for consultancy and knowledge.
During each day, the attendees (customers, suppliers, journalists and other industry professionals) have gone on a guided tour visiting all Comexi Group areas of interest: plants of casts, mechanization and assembly, the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre, the new plant MasJoals Mechatronic Unit and Inplacsa (company in which the Offset CI8 machine has been installed). An overview of Comexi Group that has been supplemented with a theoretical and practical demonstration of the latest novelties in printing, laminating, slitting and peripherals.
The CTec, a worldwide hub of knowledge
The Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre has been the epicentre of Comexi Group’s Open House, because of its importance in the sector as the greatest exponent of knowledge and innovation and also for housing in its industrial laboratory a total of 13 machines. Beyond the explanatory tour of the new solutions presented in 2013, the company has organized a daily conference on the history and trends in flexible packaging, as well as several specialized seminars given by professionals of the sector and by Comexi Group experts.
Live connection with the K Fair in Düsseldorf
During the week 16-23 October, Comexi Group has established a connection point between its facilities and its stand at the K Fair. Thus, those professionals who have approached Comexi Group space in Düsseldorf (Germany) have been witnesses to the theoretical presentation and demonstration of the new Flexo F2 MC, Flexo F2 WB and Offset CI8 machines via live streaming.
