The Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre trains 20 Russian professionals in flexographic printing

Attendees valued the course content and the quality of the practical sessions

The Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre of Comexi Group hosted, from 24 to 27 February, a new edition of Advanced Flexographic Sessions. This time, the course was conducted entirely in Russian, with the participation of 23 professionals representing some of the top companies in Russia: Ermatel, Uniflex, Tom Ltda, FlexoService, Tiko Plastic, Tpk Poliflex, JCS Aurika and 2A. This high attendance confirms the importance of the technological centre as a global space for knowledge in the flexible packaging industry.

The course combined theoretical lectures with practical demonstrations in the Demo Center, the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre own machinery park. Throughout the four days, participants reinforced their knowledge of the different concepts and processes of flexographic printing: electronic engineering, pre-press, quality control, colour management, productivity optimization and maintenance, amongst others. Furthermore, the speakers highlighted the new trends in the industry and all those technologies that allow improving performance, print quality and machine effectiveness.

Attendees particularly valued the course content and the quality of practical sessions to boost the competitiveness of their respective companies in the field of flexographic printing for flexible packaging. The good response to the conferences, with a score of 4.8 out of 6, is a challenge for the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre regarding the planning of the next training courses to further strengthen the knowledge of those professionals working in the industry.

Continuous improvement in Advanced Flexo Sessions

The training activity of the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Center continues in March and April with new Advanced Flexographic Sessions. Following the premise of continuous improvement, training coordinators have analyzed the content and organization of the previous editions, as well as the growing customer demand to adapt it to its new training calendar. So from 24 to 27 March, Advanced Flexographic Sessions will be conducted entirely in English, while 22 to 25 April will be in French.
