The Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre, of Comexi Group, has taken one step forward in consolidating its training offer to promote it both on a national and international level thanks to its link with the university. In this respect, the Technological Centre and the UdG (Universitat de Girona) Foundation signed a cooperation agreement, on 16 October, whereby the organised training sessions will be given an accredited diploma from the Universitat de Girona.
This recognition underlines the importance of the training courses run at the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre. Thanks to the agreement between both parties, the students participating in the advanced sessions in printing, conversion and maintenance, as well in the technical seminars, and accumulate a minimum of 160 hours, will be entitled to obtain the Diploma in Specialising in Conversion for the Flexible Packaging accreditation, issued by the Universitat de Girona Foundation.
The Chairman of Comexi Group, Manel Xifra Pagès, and director general of the UdG Foundation, Joaquim Velayos i Solé, signed this agreement that prolongs the existing relationship between both organisations. The actual link with the Universitat de Girona guarantees the quality of the academic offer, which is currently directed at professionals in the flexible packaging conversion industry.
