Comexi will be present at the 20th edition of Plastimagen fair, that will be held from April 2 until April 5 in Centro Citibanamex, in Ciudad de México, México.
The plastic sector is strategic in the world’s industrial framework. Since 1950 to date, the plastics industry has recorded steady growth in its production. Asia currently dominates plastic production (49%), followed by Europe (19%) and North America (18%). For this reason, it remains an area of opportunity to the Mexico and Latin America.
Due to the growing use of plastic as a raw material, many companies have improved their competitiveness by evaluating the option of replacing parts of the traditional manufacturing process with plastic elements in industries such the automotive, medical device, construction, containers/packaging, agricultural, and household appliance sectors, among many others.
In its 22nd edition, Plastimagen México represents Latin America’s plastics sector’s most important forum for the exchange of ideas, networking, displaying the latest in technology/machinery, and exhibiting products and services that are aimed at ever more industries.
