Comexi and Reifenhäuser fortify their leadership at Feiplastic show in Brazil

Comexi and Reifenhäuser, specialists in solutions for the flexible packaging industry, have closed their participation in the Feiplastic trade fair of Brazil with great commercial successes derived from the large number of visits and new contacts that the companies established in this outstanding show known as The International Plastic Fair.
With more than 56.300 visitors from around 30 countries and more than 1.000 exhibitors from 15 different states, Feiplastic was an excellent venue for Comexi and Reifenhäuser to meet with its customers, collaborators and potential customers from Brazil and other Latin and Central American countries. At the same time, the fair also became an engine of knowledge in the plastic field through its Feiplastic Forum from which generated more than 46 hours of lectures and exhibitions around the importance and use of plastic in different aspects of the current industry and society.
About 45% of the visits that Comexi received on its shared stand number B51 were new customers interested in the group's innovative solutions for the different processes of the flexible packaging conversion industry. Mainly the Comexi F2 MC flexographic press, the Comexi FUTURA laminator - which allows holographic finishes - and Comexi laser technology were the technological solutions that aroused greater interest among visitors.
"It has been a very positive fair in which the joint venture with Reifenhäuser has benefited us mutually and, at the same time, we have been able to create many commercial synergies. In addition, we were able to showcase our latest innovations that have aroused great interest in the market”, explains Comexi's Corporate Market Director, Jordi Pujol. Agreements and contacts that will allow to continue strengthening Comexi's leadership position as a leading manufacturer of printing and converting equipment for the flexible packaging industry in this area, as assured by Comexi’s Area Manager and head of Sales in Brazil, André Perez.
Added value solutions
During Feiplastic fair, Comexi showed its most innovative solutions for the different phases of the printing and converting process of flexible packaging such as the Comexi F4 flexo press, the Comexi F2 press family or the Comexi F3 press, which is built in the production plant that the group has located in Montenegro, Brazil.
On one hand, visitors could discover the latest developments related to the Comexi CI8 offset printing technology or the Comexi R2 gravure press. They were also able to delve into the latest laminating, coating and slitting technologies such as the Comexi SL3 laminator or the Comexi S2 DT slitter, which guarantee the highest levels of quality and productivity.
On the other hand, Reinfehäuser showed its latest technologies and components for the extrusion of plastics. The group also drew on this important show to present its latest solutions in the area of blown film such as the EVOLUTION Ultra Flat, EVOLUTION Ultra Die and the flat film and sheet operating unit: the REIcofeed 2.1 coextrusion feed block that allows optimal adjustment in production up to 11-layer structures.
