Comexi receives WorldStar Award 2017

Comexi, specialist in machinery for the flexible packaging converting industry, has received WorldStar Award by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) at Interpack trade fair, where the group is presenting its latest solutions and technologies in printing and converting flexible packaging from its stand located at Hall 13, Corridor B, Booth D67.
The WorldStar Awards, convened annually by the WPO, are the most reputable awards granted for the flexible packaging field. The group has been awarded and recognized worldwide for its innovative combination of Comexi Cingular Laser and lamination in register. The same technological combination that has already been awarded with a LíderPack 2016 prize, convened by Graphispack Association and the Hispack of Fira Barcelona, which was given last March during Graphispag trade fair in which Comexi was also present.
The solution awarded, devised by Comexi, saves costs in production, machinery and energy as it simplifies the process of creating a window in a packaging. Furthermore, the system allows developing – when is desired – a solventless process in lamination or printing.
The president of Comexi, Manel Xifra, Comexi’s CEO Jeroen van der Meer, Comexi’s Marketing Director David Centelles and Comexi's Marketing Coordinator, Gemma Bessa, have collected the award during the WorldStar Awards gala that this Thursday was been celebrated at Messe Düsseldorf, in Germany, in the same facilities where the Interpack trade fair is held from May 4th until next May 10th.
