Comexi strengthens its leadership and promotes new collaborations in Graphispag trade fair

This fair has been an excellent meeting place to present the latest innovations in the flexible packaging field
Comexi, specialist in solutions for the flexible packaging industry, has closed its participation in Graphispag trade fair, reinforcing its leadership in the Spanish market and promoting new project and collaborations with leading companies in this sector.
Graphispag finished its last edition on March 24 with more than 22.000 visitors, mainly Spaniards but also from other countries such as Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, as well as Turkey, Algeria and Morocco. In total, more than 350 companies dedicated to the printing sector participated in Graphispag latest edicion where Comexi was able to showcase its printing and converting technologies for flexible packaging.
On its stand 2D423, the group received an important volume of visits from historical clients and other potential collaborators interested in the latest technologies developed by the group. Comexi’s Area Manager in Spain, David Morera, underlined the good result obtained during the four-day fair. “We are very pleased with the interest that our innovations and technologies arouse in the flexible packaging market. During these days we could reinforce relations with customers, enhance communication with leading companies and start new contacts that, for sure, will bring new business opportunities”, explained Morera.
Innovative solutions
Comexi participated in Graphispag fair showing its wide range of state-of-the-art technological solutions as its latest innovative Comexi F2 ML flexographic printer, designed to achieve best quality at high speeds and with long runs.
The attendees could also discover Comexi F1 press and the various presses from F2 family, such as Comexi F2 MP, which stand out for their adaptability, ergonomics and productivity.
At the same time, the group also presented its latest rotogravure solutions such as Comexi R2 or the innovative offset technology that in 2016 was awarded for the second time with an EMAS prize for its environmental commitment. A machine that is revolutionizing the flexible packaging printing industry, placing itself as a benchmark machine and expanding in the market, with a large number of machines sold.
LíderPack Award 2016
Following the values of its founder, Comexi has always been characterized by its firm commitment to innovation and training. Hence the development of its unique laminating, coating and slitting solutions such as Comexi ML1, Comexi SL2, Comexi Futura or Comexi S1 DT and the Comexi Cingular Laser. Specifically, this latest revolutionary technology combined with lamination in register has been recognized by Graphispag Association and Hispack fair of Fira de Barcelona as the most outstanding innovation of the year in packaging and/or machinery processes.
It has been in this edition of Graphispag 2017 fair that Comexi’s Marketing Director, David Centelles, and Comexi’s Slitting Brand Manager, Albert Torrent, collected from these institutions and the Graphispag’s director, Xavier Pascual, the LíderPack 2016 prize for Comexi’s combination of Cingular Laser technology and lamination in register; a solution devised by the group that allows to save on production costs, machinery and energy, simplifying the process of creating a window in a container.
The LíderPack Awards have been celebrated annually since 2005 and are the most remarkable prizes awarded in Spain in Packaging and Advertising at the Point of Sale. Comexi was one of the 39 companies awarded in this edition. “We are very happy. We celebrate that innovation can be rewarded. Also, we have make clear that Comexi Cingular Laser technology is the key technology to make a difference”, highlighted Comexi’s Slitting Brand Manager, Albert Torrent.
At the same time, having been recognized with LíderPack Award, the group could also be chosen and finally won the WorldStar Award 2017 for this same innovative technology. A world-renowned award to be presented soon during Interpack fair that will be held from May 4 to 10 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Comexi’s great reception at its presentation at Graphispag Live
Specifically, Comexi was one of the different companies, which participated in the new collaborative space of Graphispag fair, the Graphispag Live. Comexi’s Slitting Brand Manager, Albert Torrent, was in charge of holding a conference and workshop on new trends to increase the added value of packaging in the slitting area. A presentation that aroused great interest within the sector and obtained a large number of assistants.
In particular, Graphispag Live was the most outstanding innovation of this Graphispag fair edition, positioning as a new collaborative space where participants companies were able to exhibit some of their latest technologies and creative projects in the printing and the flexible packaging sector. It received a great reception with more than 3.300 attendees to the more than 60 activities programmed like conferences, workshops, guided tours to the showroom and networking spaces.
