Industry 4.0, but what is in it for me? Certainly a question you have raised yourself in the recent years.
Comexi is at the forefront in providing value added solutions related to Industry 4.0. This year we are introducing the Extended Reality XR-glasses for our customers and field engineers. These glasses enable remote access and control of machine data and technical drawings, whilst your technician is doing maintenance on your machine. Comexi’s technical assistance can guide your technicians through parts & components and advice i.e. instruct them how to replace parts in the machine. Digital drawings are uploaded to the XR-glasses and can been seen in large format exploded view. This reduces significantly downtime of machines.
In the next quarter Comexi will introduce project COOL (Comexi Ordering On-Line) to the market and its customers. It’s a very advanced on-line ordering platform for wear & spare parts for any new machine designed in PTC’s PLM Digital Engineering software. Parts & components identification is just simply click away, thanks to the Digital Twin of the machine in 3D. Lead time and prices are online as well as the stock availability.
