June 6, 2026, Riudellots de la Selva<\/strong> \u2013 Comexi, one of the leading industrial companies in the province of Girona and a global leader in flexible packaging machinery, officially inaugurated the expansion of its facilities at the Girona Industrial Park (Riudellots de la Selva) on Saturday, June 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This inauguration marks the successful completion of an expansion of nearly 5,000 m\u00b2<\/strong>, bringing the company\u2019s total production space in Riudellots de la Selva to 25,000 m\u00b2<\/strong> dedicated to technological manufacturing and increasing its production capacity by more than 40%<\/strong>. This investment reaffirms the company\u2019s commitment to Catalonia\u2019s industrial growth, its global leadership in packaging machinery manufacturing, and the transformation of the industry towards a more sustainable and circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong Institutional Support for an Industrial Leader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The official ceremony received strong political and business support, led by the Catalan Minister for Business and Labour, Miquel S\u00e0mper i Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, accompanied by the Mayor of Riudellots de la Selva, Josep Llu\u00eds Santamaria<\/strong>, the President of the Girona Provincial Council, Miquel Noguer i Planas<\/strong>, and other authorities, as well as a broad representation of Catalonia\u2019s business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the tour of the new facilities, attendees were able to see firsthand the modernization of the spaces designed to optimize production processes and strengthen the company\u2019s R&D+i division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
