• With this purchase, the North American company starts a new expansion process
Girona, 25th September 2013.- Comexi Group, a leading specialist in providing total solutions to the flexible packaging conversion industry, has reached an agreement with the company American Packaging for the purchase of a Comexi ACOM RG Platinum machine that will be installed at its rotogravure printing and laminating plant in Wisconsin. With the acquisition of the Comexi ACOM RG Platinum, the North American firm starts a new stage on its expansion process, in constant evolution for seven years.

The Comexi ACOM RG Platinum is the most advanced technological solution in the field of rotogravure for flexible packaging, ensuring excellent results: it delivers the best printout qualities at high speeds (up to 650 m/1’), reduces the waste resulting from production processes and offers maximum productive efficiency.
In addition, the possibilities of personalizing that offer the RG Platinum printing systems allows providing tailored solutions and optimizing the machine’s configuration as well as the materials trajectories. All this improves the performance and the efficiency of the most complex applications obtaining excellent results on in-line processes such as Cold Seal, lacquering or lamination with or without solvents.
Thanks to its one single control, it is possible for the Comexi ACOM RG Platinum user to set the inking group position. The structure of the stainless steel structure trolley, facilitating the handling of the whole inking group and of the printing cylinder, allows an automatic washing without dismantling each single component.
